Board and Batt Metal Siding
In Montana, the LP brand products have become very popular. The wood look is very much a Western thing. With my board and batt metal siding, you get the same look but with the durability and longevity of steel. It looks so much like the wood board and batt that once installed from 20 feet one cannot see the difference.
I use the same 26 gauge coil that we do for standing seam roofing with the same Sherwin Williams Paint. So you have a siding that will stand up to the Montana sun for 40 +yrs and still look like new.
This product is easy to install. Very friendly for someone that enjoys the “do-it-yourself.” All you need is a tinsnips and a screw gun.
The panel covers 10”. It has 8″ of a flat surface and a 2″ batt. It is all one piece. Each piece snaps to the previous one so all your screws are concealed. If properly installed, once completed there will be no screws exposed to the elements. This product carries a 45 yr warranty.

An Easy 3-Step Process
1. Measurements
We will come to your job site, get measurements and discuss the project with you. Or if you are building a new building you can send us your engineer plans and we can get you a complete material list and price from that.
2. Cut the Panels
Once you are ready for the product we will bring our machine to your job site and roll out the panels to the exact length you need, which eliminates excessive cutting. This also eliminates the possibility of scratching or scuffing the paint while shipping.
3. Instructions
Last, but not least, we will be glad to help you understand the product, how to install it, what tools you need, etc.

The Board and Batt metal siding is different from wood options in a number of ways. Since it’s a heavy gauge metal there is NO maintenance. Rocks thrown from a lawnmower may dent it but will not ruin it. This product carries a 45 yr no fade warranty. That means that in 45 yrs it will start to fade but it will not be rusting or actually worn out. All LP products are made of pressed wood. As such you need to maintain your siding every yr. Rocks thrown from a lawnmower are typical causes of decay. If you do damage a panel of the Board and Batt metal siding it is simple to install a new panel.
